I am Steven Cole. I’m a professor of Medicine
and Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA School of Medicine. I think one of the most exciting things about
social genomics is how it provides a common language for psychologists to talk to immunologists,
for epidemiologists to talk to physicians, and for a wide variety of different people
that are interested in various parts of health to see how what they do connects to the rest
of the health and biology and psychology and sociology of the person’s life as a whole.
